Homemade Coleslaw

Coleslaw made with fresh green cabbage, red cabbage, red onion & carrots all grown in our garden.




This is my grandmom's recipe for coleslaw (or potato salad) dressing. Of course I think it's the best. :) It makes enough for 6 people with leftovers.
Coleslaw Dressing:
Mix 2 1/4 tsp mustard
4 1/2 tsp vinegar
3/4 cup mayonnaise
Salt & Sugar to taste (I put in a few shakes of salt & a pinch of sugar. Basically you just want a pinch of sugar so it counters the vinegar a little bit.)
Coleslaw Veggies: You may have extra dressing so keep adding more veggies until you have the consistancy you want.
4 1/2 cups green cabbage, finely chopped
2 cup red cabbage (or green cabbage), finely chopped
2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
